I went and saw Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides last night.

There was LOTS of action and probably less comedy than the first couple of movies in the series.
I don't want to say too much for fear of giving away story lines to people that haven't seen it and plan to.

The basic story line is the Spanish Court, Blackbeard, and Barbossa looking for the Fountain of Youth, and Jack's getting mixed up in the middle of all of them.

The religious captive of Blackbeard is quite the cutie. Appears to be fairly new actor according to imdb. He kept looking familiar to me throughout the movie, but I don't recognize any of the shows/movies listed on his resume.

The last couple of minutes of the movie are great and I hope are setting up for a No. 5.

Advice... Stay and watch until the end of the credits. :o

I would have to grade it: A-

Dog Injured In Tornado Crawls Back To Family Home
posted by: Beth Buczynski

For the past month, drenching rain, damaging hail and killer tornadoes have pummeled the central and southern regions of the United States.

Rescue workers and relief volunteers are still sifting through damage in parts of Alabama, Illinois, and Missouri, trying to find missing loved ones and pets.

Amidst all this destruction and despair, it's often hard to find a bright side, but a story recently featured in TIME magazine is almost guaranteed to get your tail wagging.

TIME reports that three weeks after a series of tornadoes blew through Alabama, leveling everything in their path, a family in North Smithfield returned to their damaged home to sift through debris. Miraculously, they found their missing dog Mason waiting for them on the porch.

With both of his front legs broken and his fur matted and dirty, Mason had obviously been through a terrible ordeal. According to MyFox Alabama, the terrier mix was hiding in his garage when the storm picked him up and blew him away. For weeks, his family searched but found no sign of their scrappy pup.

"This is probably the most dramatic we've seen as far as an injury in an animal that's survived this long," Phil Doster of the Birmingham-Jefferson County Animal Control Shelter told MyFox Alabama. "For an animal just to show up on someone's porch after this time was pretty remarkable, especially with the condition he's in.

David Beckham -- 'Speeding Really Bad' Before Crash
5/30/2011 1:00 AM PDT by TMZ Staff

David Beckham was driving like a MANIAC before swerving into another lane at a dangerously high speed ... and rear-ending a stalled vehicle earlier this month -- this according to multiple 911 calls.

One caller -- who claims she was driving behind David for several miles-- reported that David was "driving recklessly" and "speeding really bad" before slamming into the stalled car on May 6.

Another caller claims David was "definitely speeding" -- pulling in and out of the carpool lane ... "breaking a couple traffic laws."

As we previously reported, Beckham rear-ended another car with his Black Escalade ... on one of the busiest highways in L.A. -- and the other driver had to be taken to the hospital.

Beckham -- whose son Brooklyn was in the car with him at the time -- has not been arrested or cited.

A spokesman for Beckham tells us, "As unfortunate as accidents are, David was not cited by the police at the scene for any violations."
