Mar. 6th, 2011 08:52 pmWell, Don't Drink the Water is all done now. :(
It was a lot of fun. A lot of work, and a lot of fun.
Again this year we weren't burdened with huge crowds, but they were very receptive ones. :) It is so great to get laughs on stage. I will admit, I milked one of the laughs for a little extra time, and I had to bite my tongue a little bit to keep myself from breaking and laughing myself a little. lol...... All through the show I complain that my wife forced me to go to Europe. Then when we are planning our escape and I am repeating back all the fake stories that we are suppose to be using, I am asked what are you doing in Europe. I slowly look up and turn to my wife and say, What am I doing in Europe. As I slowly look up, the crowd started to laugh, and then as I turn to look at my wife, they laugh more. I start my line, What, they laugh more. Am I doing in Europe? They laughed more. I looked away, they keep laughing. Then I milked it and turned back to look at my wife, they laughed more. I turned away, and that's when I had to bite my tongue not to laugh too. lol..........
I think our best night between acting and audience was Saturday night. Thankfully that was the night that they recorded it. :)
I will try to get some pictures posted soon. I got some on my digital camera, but I have some on my 35 mm that I was using as a prop. Those will take awhile because I need to get them in to a store for processing.
I have a big break between shows now.
Don't Drink the Water ended today. Loving Lorna Doone starts tomorrow. lol............
The director said I would only be needed a couple of times a week to start with. I hope that's true. lol...
I so need to get my sleep schedule back on track. I really need to stay awake tonight so I can sleep tomorrow, but I don't think it's going to happen. I am soooooo tired right now. :o It's been a long busy week.
