(no subject)

I have to get up early for a theater meeting tonight.
My local community theater group is picking the shows we will do next year.
I will be trying to get an English comedy for the March show, and once again, I will be pushing for The Wizard of Oz for the Summer musical.
Chances are the last one won't happen again next year. :( Not sure why I push so hard for it other than I love the show. I can't sing, so I can't really do the show. lol......
As for the comedy show, I love British humor. :)
There is a small group that keeps pushing for a Shakespeare show in the comedy slot. Eww... I love Romeo and Juliet, but that is about it when it comes to his shows. Although I guess Taming of the Shrew is pretty good too. Just don't think that would be a big ticket seller. lol...
So I may fall behind on my journaling for the next day or so.

Newsweek Poll: Republicans Think Obama 'Probably' Wants To Impose Islamic Law

According to a new poll, a majority of Republicans thinks President Obama favors the interests of Muslim Americans over other Americans and that he wants to impost Islamic Sharia law throughout the world.

From Talking Points Memo (emphasis mine):

The poll asked: "Some people have alleged that Barack Obama sympathizes with the goals of Islamic fundamentalists who want to impose Islamic law around the world. From what you know about Obama, what is your opinion of these allegations?"

The top-line result was definitely true 7%, probably true 24%, probably not true 36%, and definitely not true 25%. Among Republicans, however, it was definitely true 14%, probably true 38%, probably not true 33%, and definitely not true 7%.
