disneydream06I just wanted to let you all know that I am probably going to be without my computer for a few days.
Last night it went down on me. Vista Protection or whatever it's called said my computer was infected and wants me to install an upgrade, aka pay more money for, protection. It's not letting me do anything on my computer.
The thing is, I already have Trend Micro protection. Why wouldn't that be warning me? I was able to run a scan on Trend Micro and it didn't show any problems.
Then I ran a scan on this Vista system and it showed 245 infections. Really?
Not sure if I should be spending money on this other system, and also if it's a safe thing to do.
So I am going to see if I can take my computer in and spend another small fortune to have it looked at and cleaned out if needed.
UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have my Nook that I can get online with, but it's not so easy to negotiate around like a computer.
