The year my good friend Jerry was killed in Iraq, we did a red white and blue tree in honor of him. I have to admit, it was beautiful and just what I needed to get thru the Holiday knowing he was gone.

I am betting your lights snapped onto the branch, right...?? I remember many years ago, when I was a kid my Mom had those kinds of lights and we hing them on our tree. They are cool and add such a special touch.
