Well, as of right now, it's looking like I might have a longer draught in my theater productions that I was planning. My planned time frame was auditions in January and a show in March. Well...

We had our meeting last night for the Stewartville Community Theater to pick our shows for next year.
Not really thrilled with our choices.
For the Winter comedy "we" choose A Midsummer Nights Dream. I don't mind watching Shakespeare, but I am not a big fan of his, and even less so at the thought of acting in it. So right now, I am leaning towards not auditioning for it.
For the Summer musical we choose Camelot. It's a good show and I do like it, but we have done it before and I had a small part in it. Combine that with I don't really sing and musicals aren't really my thing that way. I really wish I could sing. I would love to do certain parts in different shows. :( Add to that the fact that I have for years been pushing to do The Wizard of Oz only to have to high school do it last year which takes it out of the running for us for a good 10 years. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And the theater that I have been getting talked into doing shows for in Rochester is going to be doing South Pacific. It's a good show, but I don't see myself in any role in it. Besides the fact that it's a musical. lol.......

So it could be 2013 before I get on stage again. :(

Grass skirt sounds okay, not to sure about a coconut bra. LoL..........

I played one of his parts before. I was the Devil in Damn Yankees. :p Minus the solo song that was cut. He never did tell me if it was because of my voice or time restraints. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
